The short version: Dote does not collect, store or share any personal data. Your habits stay on your device and your iCloud account — and nowhere else.
What data we collect
None. Dote does not collect any personal information. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind.
How your data is stored
All habit data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you have iCloud enabled, your data is synced through your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. We never have access to this data.
In-app purchases
Dote Premium is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see, handle or store any payment information. Your purchase history is managed by your Apple ID.
Notifications
If you enable habit reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device using iOS's notification system. No data is sent to any server to deliver these notifications.
Third-party services
Dote uses no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We use no SDKs from external companies.
Children's privacy
Dote does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe for all ages.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change our privacy practices, we will update this page with a new date. Since we collect no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
