Privacy Policy

Denilson Monteiro ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Orbia mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Orbia.

By using Orbia, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Account Information: When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your display name and a unique user identifier. We do not receive your email address unless you explicitly share it.
Location Data: We store your last known position on the map to restore your location between sessions. This data is stored locally on your device using UserDefaults and is not transmitted to third-party analytics services.
Game Data: We store your points, rankings, collision history, and game progress in Firebase (Google) to enable multiplayer functionality.
Device Token: We collect your device's push notification token (FCM token) to send you in-game notifications such as portal alerts.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the multiplayer game experience
To display your position, points, and ranking to other players in your region
To send push notifications about in-game events (portals, etc.)
To maintain leaderboards and collision history
To improve the App's performance and gameplay balance

3. Data Sharing

Your display name and points are visible to other players in the same geographic region as part of the multiplayer gameplay. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We use the following third-party services:

Firebase (Google LLC): Authentication, Realtime Database, Firestore, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Messaging. Firebase Privacy Policy

4. Data Retention

Your game data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete the app, your local data (position, points) is removed from your device. Your account data on Firebase servers remains until you request deletion.

In-game position data in the Realtime Database is automatically removed when you disconnect from the game.

5. Children's Privacy

Orbia is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

6. Security

We use Firebase Security Rules to ensure that players can only read and write their own data. All communications with Firebase are encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Opt out of push notifications at any time through your device settings

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
