This Privacy Policy describes how Burst: Speed Typing ("Burst", "we", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our service.
Information we collect
We collect the following information to provide and improve our service:
- Account information: username chosen by you, email address (via Apple or Google Sign-In), and country detected from your device.
- Game data: run results (WSA Score, accuracy, words completed, duration), run history, and title progression.
- Identifiers: a unique ID generated by Firebase Authentication to identify your account.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Display your profile and performance history in the app
- Calculate and publish your WSA Score on the global leaderboard
- Keep your leaderboard position up to date
- Report achievements to Apple Game Center
- Improve the app experience using aggregated, anonymous data
Information sharing
Your username, title, and WSA Score are public and visible to other players on the global leaderboard. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We use the following third-party services:

Data retention
We retain your data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below.
Security
Your data is stored securely on Firebase with encryption in transit and at rest. Database access is restricted by security rules that prevent unauthorized reads or modifications.
Children
Burst is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us for immediate deletion.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Revoke Sign in with Apple or Google access at any time
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of Burst after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
